    Full Spectrum Doula, Trauma-Informed Case Manager

    Shanika is deeply dedicated to enhancing the birthing experience for mothers and their families. She has received comprehensive training from reputable organizations such as DONA International, and holds additional certifications from ProDoula and the Doula Passage Program.

    Beyond her doula expertise, Shanika brings a wealth of knowledge in maternal health and wellness, supported by her Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management. Her extensive experience in trauma-informed care and case management strategies further enriches her commitment to maternal well-being.

  • Nikeya Traynham

    CO-FOUNDER, PROJECT MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR, FullSpectrum Doula

    With a Master’s in Public Health, Nikeya’s mission is to elevate holistic health and wellness within the birthing community. Her practice involves guiding women through childbirth preparations and providing steadfast support during birth and beyond.

    With more than two decades of experience in prenatal and maternal care, Nikeya is a seasoned health professional. She has received training from renowned organizations, including DONA International, ProDoula, and the Doula Passage Program.

  • La'Tresha Rideout MA, BS.

    Full Spectrum Doula, Community Health Worker

    LaTrese is a proud mother of three adult children and ten grandchildren, four of whom she has provided doula services. She passionately advocates for maternal health and reducing health disparities in North Omaha. She serves on several committees, including Nebraska Medicine's Birth Equity Committee, A Mother's Love, City Match, and UNMC's HEDI-Equity of Care Task Force. LaTrese's primary focus is to promote health equity, reduce maternal, infant, and fetal mortality rates, and improve birth weight outcomes among African American women.

    As your doula, LaTrese aims to create a supportive community to assist you during your birthing experience. She is a trained Community Health Worker who can help you obtain the necessary resources to minimize barriers and unforeseen stress before, during, and after delivery. She will use calming and massaging techniques during labor and delivery to help you relax. She will also advocate for you and your partner so that your preferences and needs are respected. LaTrese is also a licensed foster parent and can offer emergency respite services for up to two children for a maximum of two days (for an additional fee).

    Artnetta is dedicated to providing unwavering emotional and physical support throughout the pregnancy journey. Her ultimate goal is to contribute to safe and empowering birthing experiences. She’s proud to offer comprehensive, educational support in prenatal care, labor/delivery, and postpartum care, ensuring her clients are well-prepared for each stage.

    In addition to more than 20 years of experience in the medical field, Artnetta continuously expands her education and knowledge base to stay at the forefront of maternal care. She is deeply committed being an advocate and assisting clients with the most appropriate care they may need.

  • Sydney Shead

    Full Spectrum Doula, Parent Coach, Family Support Worker

    Sydney embarked on her professional journey as a nanny and childcare provider, dedicating over two decades to serving children, youth, and families in diverse roles, including Montessori educator, family support worker, and parent coach. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, along with Birth and Postpartum Doula Certifications from ProDoula.

    In addition, Sydney is a Certified Montessori Early Childhood and Montessori Parent-Infant Educator, as well as a Certified Breastfeeding Educator. Her passion lies in supporting families during times of transition and facilitating connections with resources that align with their current and long-term family goals.

  • Delicia Mcghee, LMHP, CMSW, Full Spectrum Doula

    Delicia McGhee, LMHP, CMSW is a therapist that provides services that is trauma-informed. Delicia is also a holistic a full spectrum doula helping folks with their birthing and postpartum experiences. Her goal is to provide birthing folks with the resources, education, and reassurance they need for a healthy pregnancy and birth. Delicia also provides therapy services for birthing folks who experience baby blues, postpartum depression, etc., or just need education regarding mental health before, during and after birthing a baby. She is here to help you and your family on your birthing journey.

    About: Abundance will provide full spectrum services and

    incorporate the art of yoga. She is also in the process of obtaining

  • Alexus McCants, Full Spectrum Doula

    Fertility Doula: Breastfeeding Specialist

    Alexus is a mother of two via c-sections and a breastfeeding advocate with combined and continuous 49-month breastfeeding experience with both children. She provides full-spectrum doula services (Prenatal, Labor & Delivery, and Postpartum). She began her Doula journey in 2020 and has received training from renowned organizations, including DONA International and the Doula Passage Program. She is currently studying to become a certified herbalist and a certified lactation consultant.

    Alexus takes pride in decreasing unnecessary c-sections and poor birthing experiences with her services. Her goals are to make sure you are informed of all your choices while protecting your energy and autonomy to help create the safest birthing experience, as well as act as an advocate during birth so you are informed, heard, and respected. She teaches you what you are comfortable with and focuses on soothing techniques and positions. She provides weekly visits after birth with a continued supply of resources with things like breastfeeding support and items for the baby if needed.
